  3. Journal Entry #4- prompt pg. 57 (journals are due next class 3/1)

Wednesday, February 23rd

  1. Created a poster about your survey- poster should have a title, at least 2 graphs of your data, and a conclusion.
  2. The plan had been to share the posters but so many weren't done collecting data that the posters are due on the 1st.
  3. Assignment- Correlations WKST- due next class (see me to get this)

1st Period
  1. Filled out Methods of Research graphic organizer in journal.
  2. Activity- Lab 1-2: Observation. See me for the directions.

3rd Period
1. Activity/Assignment- Create and conduct a survey. You can work by yourself or with a partner. Pick any topic that interests you. Your survey must have a minimum of 5 questions, including age and gender. Choose a sample size that will give you adequate results (probably at least 20 people). Data must be collected by next Wednesday the 23rd.

2. Handed out the directions for writing an Article Review. 1st article review is due March 1st.

3. Went to library to find an article for Article Review assignment and/or work on survey.

1st Period

Tuesday, February 1st

Welcome to 2nd Semester Psychology!!

Each class day I will post what we did in class that day, links to notes and assignments, and any reminders. Also, look for information about extra credit along the right side and quick links to resources.

Today:
  1. Went over syllabus- parent signature page is due Friday the 4th
  2. Activity- Cruise Through Psychologyland, this is just an introduction to what we will be covering this semester, nothing to turn in.
  3. Assignment: Bring a photo of yourself and any magazines that can be cut up to class tomorrow.
