Psychology Journal: Final Prompt
Part 1- Notes on the Presentations (25 points)
Part 2- Answer the following questions (25 points):
1. Reflect on your very first journal entry, did you gain what you had hoped from this class?
2. Explain a concept that you learned this semester.
3. Reflect on your final project. Do you feel that it reflected what you learned? What would you do differently? Overall, how do you feel you did on the project?
4. As you watch A Beautiful Mind take note of any symptoms John Nash exhibits prior to being diagnosed. What treatments are available to him? At what point in the movie did you become aware that he has schizophrenia?
5. Given the choices Nash had for dealing with his condition (either taking drugs with horrible side effects, or fighting with himself to ignore the voices), do you think he made the right choice? What would you choose to do in that situation?

1. Activity/Assignment- Create and conduct a survey. You can work by yourself or with a partner. Pick any topic that interests you. Your survey must have a minimum of 5 questions, including age and gender. Choose a sample size that will give you adequate results (probably at least 20 people). Data must be collected by next Wednesday the 23rd.

- Activity- Cruise Through Psychologyland, this is just an introduction to what we will be covering this semester, nothing to turn in.
- Assignment: Bring a photo of yourself and any magazines that can be cut up to class tomorrow.
